The fine print

Terms of Service

Beta terms · last updated July 2, 2026

1. What this is

MotoGather connects car enthusiasts with local events run by independent crews. This is a beta: features change, things occasionally break, and data may be reset in rare circumstances. Don't treat it as your only record of anything important.

2. Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself, be at least the age of majority where you live (or have a guardian's consent), and give us accurate information. You can delete your account any time from your dashboard.

3. Events & payments

Events are organized by crews, not by us. When you buy a spot in a paid event, the organizer is the seller — we process the payment and take a platform fee. Refunds for cancelled events go back to your card automatically; payments made directly to an organizer (cash, e-transfer) are between you and them. Show up at your own risk: motorsport and car meets carry inherent hazards, and organizers' rules and waivers apply on site.

4. Your content

You own what you post — photos, posts, builds. By posting you give us a license to display it on the platform. Don't post anything you don't have rights to, and nothing illegal, hateful, or harassing. No promoting street racing on public roads.

5. Moderation

Crew owners moderate their own audiences (including removing and banning followers). Site moderation can suspend accounts, take down events, and remove content that breaks these terms. We aim for fair; we don't promise a hearing before action in urgent cases.

6. Liability

The platform is provided as-is, without warranties. To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for damages arising from events you attend, deals you make with organizers, or beta-software gremlins. Our total liability is capped at the fees you've paid us in the last 12 months.

7. Changes

We'll update these terms as the platform grows. Material changes get a notification; continuing to use MotoGather after that means you accept them.
